Department of Applied Sciences & Humanities strives for increasing the knowledge, enhancing the critical thinking, ability to change information into knowledge and power of analyzing the things. We always intend to impart knowledge through a closed knit family of highly competent faculty. Department plays a vital role in an engineering college catering to the teaching of basic Sciences & Humanities courses for Engineering students of all branches. The purpose of applied sciences in Engineering study is to lay a strong foundation of basic principles of various disciplines such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry & Communication Skills in the mind of the learners, so that they proceed to rest of their years of study with up to date knowledge. Thus, the Department of Applied Sciences & Humanities acts as a fertilizer to develop a good base for students over all development. This department is the backbone of all disciplines in Engineering & Technology.

To train and develop the basic skill-sets which in turn facilitate the achievement of academic excellence in students and to help them to excel in their professional careers of choice.

To provide value based education and mould the character of younger generation through Basic Sciences and Professional ethics to inculcate discipline and perseverance through methodological teaching with the aim of making them better professionals and better citizen.
